Dessert in Jars for the Holidays + a Giveaway

We love desserts and we love jars! Baking in jars is almost as much fun as canning in them, so it only makes sense that Shaina Olmanson’s cookbook, Desserts in Jars, is one of our favorite things.Desserts in Jars

    I like to make fruit pies in jars with leftover crust and filling I always have when making one in a bigger pie tin.

    I make strawberry “jam” but we actually put a few spoonfulls over ice cream instead… so really it is secretly an ice cream topping ;)

    I like to make cupcakes in jars, because they are so easy to transport. It’s also handy to make single-serve homemade pudding cups in jars. Thanks for the giveaway!

    This is a very hard question for me to answer! I have yet to make a desert in a jar, though with our busy lives here on the farm it would only make sense!

    I’ve made brownie trifles and lemon curd pound cakes in tiny jars for hostess gifts! Nothing better than a tiny jar with a spoon attached!!
