There are so many wonderful fall flavors! Apples, cider, apple butter and caramel are some of our favorite autumn sweets.
We found this delightful Apple Cider Cake with Salted Carmel Buttercream Frosting recipe from Something Swanky.
We prepared these yummy cupcakes in our 6.5 oz. Straight-Sided jar. We topped them with sugared Oak Leaves & Acorn cookies. Our guests just grabbed a spoon and dug in. We put a lid on the extras and saved them for later.
TIP: The best way to clean jars after they’ve been baked in is to put them in water and just give them a quick brushing with a bottle brush to loosen any remaining fragments. This really helps in allowing the dishwasher to do a better job at cleaning.
These cupcakes inspired us to find other yummy fall recipes that put our apple butter preserves to work.
